Toledo Bend Recreation Site is the answer to all looking for fun in the sun. Just 45 miles northwest of Fort Polk, the site is located on the largest man made reservoir in the South and fifth largest in the country.
Toledo Bend has 2-bedroom mobile homes available for rent, as well as, cabins and Yurts. Mobile homes come completely furnished with a fully equipped kitchen that includes: microwave, coffee pot, toaster, oven, pots & pans, and utensils. These spacious mobile homes boast 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms with two single beds in each room and a sleeper sofa in the living room. All mobile homes have central hear and air conditioning. Each unit is also furnished with a color TV to keep you in touch with the rest of the world. The only items not provided are bed linens and towels.
The cabins can be a refreshing discovery to enjoy as you boat by them on the banks of the lake. Sleeping up to five people, these cozy cabins have central air, ceiling fans, full baths and a fully equiped kitchen. Recreational vehicle and camping spots are available too! All you have to bring are towels and bedding! Or you can go for the unique and experience a night in the yurts nestled in our woods.

TOLEDO BEND'S BOAT STORAGE
No matter the weather, you have to admit that readying for your adventure under a shelter from the elements and a light from the darkness makes boating a greater joy. Even during those early morning or late night hours, just flipping on a convenient overhead florescent light and unplugging the batteries that you've been charging in the provided outlets makes life easier. With Toledo Bend's boat storage, now, there are no more irritating delays in getting your boat launched. What a joy to have such convenience while getting a great deal paying a yearly rate- that's 12 months- for the price of 10. (Even the electricity for the boat storage and the security lighting in the storage area are included in the storage fee.) Don't forget that 24 hour access to your boat is also an added benefit of Toledo Bend's boat storage facility. So bring your boat to Toledo Bend and make it happy with all pampering we do! CLICK HERE FOR ONLINE BOATER'S SAFETY COURSESuccessful completion of the online boater's safety course is required to operate Toledo Bend Recreation Site's motorized watercrafts. You may complete the course at Toledo Bend or you may complete it prior to your visit. However, you must bring proof of succesful completion if you choose to take the course off-site. Once you successfully complete the "written" test you must pass a hands-on driving test before you can let loose on the lake.
