Other Facilities: Arts and Crafts Center

Whether you're a novice or expert, the Arts & Crafts Center staff can help you uncover or enhance your artistic talents. The Center offers a variety of classes for users of all ages. It also boasts a resale shop stocked with many of the items needed for classes and it is available to all authorized FMWR users. Class size is usually limited so instructors are able to work with students on a one-on-one basis. Once a class is taken, a certification card is issued which allows use of the facility and tools.

Times and schedules vary, but group and individual instruction is typically offered in matting & framing, ceramics, papertole, floral design, decorative (faux) tile art, kid's classes, and seasonal craft classes.  We also offer services in custom framing, sublimation, engraving, silk flower arrangements and canvas stretching.  Let us be your headquarters for Farewell and Unit gifts, awards, and memorabilia.

The Arts & Crafts Center is open to those needing the space to work on their own hobbies. There is ample table space available and we encourage you to take advantage of it. An Art Specialist is on staff to help with any questions that may arise.

A Facility user fee of $2 per hour or $7.50 per day applies.

Congratulations!
