FreedomFest has a full evening of activities and events planned for your entertainment. It will be held Friday, July 4 at Headquarters Field, located across from the Warrior Community Center and adjacent to Bldg 350. The admission to the event is free, but don't forget your spending money for food supplied by food vendors and games/activities provided by Family Readiness Groups. The shuttle buses will be running at least every 15 minutes from 4:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. after the fireworks from the following locations: the Library/Education Center, Perez Field, BJACH South Parking Lot, North Polk Elementary, and AAFES Mini-mall. There will be no through traffic on Corps Road. This event is open to the public and festival goers can enter the post from any access point with a valid driver's license. Patrons who live nearby are encouraged to walk over and check out all of the activities:
5 - 10 p.m. Food Vendors Open
5 - 9 p.m. Picerne Kids' Area opens
5:30 p.m. "Bayou Katz" performs
8 p.m. "Neal McCoy" performs
9:15 p.m. Fireworks
10 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. Outdoor Deck Party with DJ music
on Mulligan's Patio
